For those who aren’t familiar, can you tell us a bit about what Andjelic Land Inc does and your role within the agricultural industry in Saskatchewan?

Andjelic Land Inc manages over 220,000 acres across Saskatchewan, specializing in leasing high-quality agricultural land to local farmers. We’re dedicated to sustainable farming practices, which ensures the productivity and value of the land for generations to come. Our role is crucial in supporting Saskatchewan’s agricultural economy and fostering strong relationships with the farming community.

Your business model involves sustainable land management—how does this sustainability-focused approach set Andjelic apart from other agricultural land-leasing companies?

Our approach emphasizes soil health, crop rotation, and responsible land use practices. Unlike traditional models that focus solely on short-term returns, our long-term vision prioritizes environmental sustainability and the overall health of the land. We work closely with farmers, promoting practices that ensure the land remains productive and valuable, benefiting both the environment and our farming partners.

The vibrant setting encourages collaboration and idea-sharing, making it easier for us to adapt and stay innovative. What’s a key trend or shift you're seeing in agricultural land management or leasing, and how is your team responding to it?

One key trend in agricultural land management is the growing emphasis on sustainable farming practices and soil health. Farmers are increasingly adopting techniques that preserve land quality while improving long-term productivity. We're responding by encouraging these practices through collaborative relationships with our farmers, ensuring that leased land remains productive and sustainable for future generations. This approach helps us maintain the value of the land while supporting the success of our farming partners.

"Unlike a traditional office, the collaborative environment here has allowed us to interact with a diverse group of professionals, expanding our network and sparking fresh ideas."

Path is all about collaboration and community. Has coworking opened up new opportunities or connections for your team compared to working from a traditional office?

Coworking at Path has definitely opened up new opportunities and connections for our team. Unlike a traditional office, the collaborative environment here has allowed us to interact with a diverse group of professionals, expanding our network and sparking fresh ideas. The flexibility and openness of the space have made it easier to connect with others, and we’ve found that these new relationships bring valuable insights and opportunities that we might not have encountered otherwise. It’s been a great way to grow both personally and professionally.

What's one important thing—either industry-related or not—that your team has learned or experienced in the past few months?

One important thing our team has learned recently is the value of adaptability. In both the agricultural industry and in our day-to-day work we’ve realized how essential it is to stay agile and open to new approaches, whether it's incorporating sustainable practices or adjusting to market changes. This mindset has helped us stay ahead and continue supporting our farming partners effectively, even in a rapidly evolving environment.
